Irene “Rena” Machowa Lubker, PhD, MLS, MPH, RD, AHIP (Distinguished) is a Research and Education Informationist (Professor) at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Library. As a liaison librarian at MUSC, she supports the MUSC College of Dental Medicine, Public Health Sciences and Dietetics. Rena is very passionate about evidence-based practice, adult learning and diversity in Librarianship both in the USA and globally, she works with several international health sciences librarian groups.
