Sarah McKee is the senior associate director for publishing at the Bill and Carol Fox Center for Humanistic Inquiry at Emory University. Her focus in this role is the implementation of a grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation that offers institutional subsidies for publishing open access monographs authored by Emory faculty.
Prior to her arrival at Emory, Sarah worked for fifteen years at the University of Georgia Press, serving most recently as managing editor of the New Georgia Encyclopedia, an open-access digital reference work.
